Exploring Digital Humanities
Hello! My name is Olivia Schneider and this is my second year pursuing a joint major in English & Environmental and Sustainability Studies.
I grew up on a small farm near Greenwood, B.C. and enjoy a number of hobbies including gardening, horseback riding, drawing, playing and listening to music, reading and writing.
I am passionate about environmental issues and have been active in organizing education and action initiatives in my home community and more recently at UNBC. I hope my time at UNBC will lead to a career in environmental journalism and community education.

Poetry is how perfectionists
handle the world —
editing humanity.
Stanzas that show imperfection
with a perfect word.
